Health Informatics

The concept of Health Informatics is a coalescence of medical sciences, computer sciences, information management, biostatistics and mathematics. It is also possible to associate Health Informatics with creation, gathering, analysis, evaluation, processing, presentation, storage and archiving processes of medical data.

Obtaining the theoretical and applied knowledge in Health Informatics is a key factor to solve complicated problems concerning medical treatment, health protection, pharmaceutical research, clinical decision making and reinstitution of health.

In consideration with the working hours of the medical sector, Health Informatics study is currently available as a distance learning program for a non-thesis MSc Degree.
