Söğüt Gendarmerie Transportation Training Commander Col. İbrahim Enver Sungur Visited Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız. During the visit, a cooperation protocol was signed between our university and the Bilecik Söğüt Gendarmerie Transportation Training Center Command. The signing ceremony took place in our university’s New Senate Hall and was attended by Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Fazlı Polat, Rector’s Advisors Prof. Dr. Abdulkerim Yörükoğlu, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Temel Çakıroğlu, Dr. Ahmet Bilal Dostbil, Director of the Informatics Institute Prof. Dr. Aslıhan Tüfekci, Deputy Director Dr. Öner Barut, and our General Secretary Mehmet Ali Özkan.

The protocol was signed by our Rector, Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, and Col. İbrahim Enver Sungur. Following the signing, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Musa Yıldız, presented Col. İbrahim Enver Sungur, a graduate of our Institute of Science, with his alumni card and a sapling certificate for a tree planted in his name as part of our university’s afforestation efforts.

This protocol aims to establish an academic collaboration between our university’s Informatics Institute and the Söğüt Gendarmerie Transportation Training Center Command. The cooperation will focus on conducting joint scientific research on simulation-based training systems, organizing courses and seminars, forming partnerships, and developing technological products.
