A virtual reality (VR) simulation training program was designed for use in the Department of Oral, Dental, and Maxillofacial Radiology at our university’s Faculty of Dentistry. The project involves faculty members and students from the Faculty of Dentistry, the Institute of Informatics, the Department of Computer Engineering, and the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The Virtual Reality (VR) Lab, which was opened by our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal, has started being used for educational purposes.
Our Rector Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal thanked those who contributed to the creation of the simulation training program and the lab. During his visit to the Virtual Reality Lab, Prof. Dr. Uğur Ünal used the VR simulator to perform dental X-ray imaging on a virtual patient.
